His Instruments of Praise (HIP) is a team of disciples whose main purpose is to spread their love for God through dance. H.I.P was formed in the spring of 2008 under the coordination of April Denise Sledge. During this time, AAGC choir continued to sing their hearts out, however, April decided there were other ways to worship God—thus HIP was born. Ministering to the song "Don't Cry" by Kirk Franklin, the team traveled to the National Baptist Student Union Retreat and placed 2nd in the Praise Dance competition. Since then, HIP has placed in and won several competitions while also touching the hearts of many as they danced. Although HIP is already established as a successful ministry, they still seek to grow and develop alongside the choir. H.I.P follows under the direction of Khalagra Owens & Chelsea Isaac. Both are ready to set the atmosphere for the year and lead the team to anoint others through their ministry of dance.
